Carrie and I want to express our sincerest gratitude to the both of you for making our home-building experience a rewarding one in so many ways. As we mentioned to you at our very first meeting together, we needed you to manage the construction entirely and just point us toward the necessary decision-making at each stage of development. With our children, our grand children, our jobs and so many other obligations, we relied on your good judgment and resolve throughout the process and the results are amazing.
Every visitor and family member who has been to our new home comments on the craftsmanship and the attention to detail which are so rare in American homebuilding these days. Our kitchen cabinetry is a real eye-opener and has proven to be very functional as well as beautiful. We spend so much time there and the suggestions that you both made resulted in a room that is perfectly adapted to our lifestyle.
The molding work through the house adds such a quality feeling and is especially beautiful in our dining room, family room, office and master bedroom. Steve's suggestions about the way to approach the ceilings in the great room and the dining room, in conjunction with the quality way in which the house was built, further add to the warmth and design of our dream home. Visitors constantly remark that there is no room in the house in which you could fail to look around and see at least one or two features that make you aware that you are in a custom-designed and built home.
The construction site during the construction period was always well maintained, no littering with bottles, cans, half-eaten lunches. You were careful to clean up all debris every day and nothing was ever buried in the ground as a quick clean up; a professional way of approaching home-building. Ann runs a tight ship with all her subs and constantly maintains the property owner’s interest in the finish of the dwelling.
There is something about your good nature that brings good people to you. All of your sub-contractors are more like family members than business relationships. They care about their work. They are pleasant and polite and they are committed to doing their best (Several mentioned that Ann's eagle eye would find any mistake and would make them correct it.) But more importantly, they were genuinely proud of their craft and they happened to be the very best.
Steve, you kept us well informed by email and telephone updates weekly and directed our attention to the purchases needed for each upcoming phase of construction. Needless to say we trusted you with substantial supervision over payments and with large amounts of money involved, you were detailed and exacting in your work. Thank you for being worthy of our trust.
Looking back on the past year plus, Carrie and I are grateful that we were able to place our dependence on you both, and that you gave us your very best. We wish you continued good health and success in all you do. Please do not hesitate to have new prospective clients call us. We would be most happy to tell them the truth about our good friends, the Belknap's and their home-building talents.

Rich and I want to take a few moments to thank you for our beautiful home. I have to admit when we decided to build a custom home, we felt quite nervous about the process and choices that were before us, from our first meeting you both made us feel at ease.
We feel like we were walked through the process flawlessly. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed with decisions. The final result is both beautiful and functional, the woodwork and attention to details is to be admired. Throughout the build we were kept informed and updated on each stage of the house construction. We remember so many things that we could write a best selling novel about the experience. I think the number one thing that sticks out in our minds is attention to detail. You two truly compliment one another in your efforts and that is what makes building a home a remarkable and enjoyable experience for the owner. Steve, I make my living selling and negotiating and I just want you to know that you had us sold from our first meeting. Michelle and I remember that meeting still and how you really put us at ease and made us feel comfortable communicating with you. Your calm demeanor and approach to the whole process is what sets you apart from other builders. The two of you are a fantastic team and a great couple. It shows through your passion which is home building.
As one begins the process of picking a builder you will hear so many horror stories from folks about building a custom home. Most of their discontent seems centered around the slow pace and inconsistent character/quality of the Builder's Sub Contractors. This was not the case with our experience. Steve and Ann we must say that your building pace was truly phenomenal yet very organized and that all of your subs were very pleasant to work with. They all were professional in every regard, from their detailed craftsmanship to their daily clean up. You know after awhile they began to feel like family, especially Samuel. Michelle and I felt obligated to mention him as well. He is a tremendous asset to you and your company and is a fine man as well. Samuel is welcome in our home anytime. With the fact that we have two small children that require much attention we can really say that we were appreciative of your judgment calls along the way. There were so many details you helped us make; for instance the Molding in our Media Room to your “Functional Ideas” for my Home Office. All of which drew on your vast experience in building homes. When Michelle and I have family and friends over they all enter our home with their mouths wide open and heads a turning. Everyone that enters our home is amazed at the custom detail and experienced craftsmanship of the work your team put into building our dream home.
The construction loan and mortgage process was a breeze thanks to your suggestions and your relationships with the bank. Bobbie with Wood Forest and Heather with Cornerstone are so impressed with your organization and how quickly your homes are built plus how satisfied your homeowners are with their new custom homes, they both said they always enjoy dealing with American Tradition Custom Homes.
